Data Governance &
Privacy Policy

At Pacific Edge Intelligence, we treat data security with the same technical rigor applied to our high-signal analytics. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting the personal information of our Australian enterprise partners.

Version 2.4.1 Last Revised: March 28, 2026

Core Principles

Our approach to edge intelligence is built on the principle of data minimization. We only collect what is required to deliver signal-rich outcomes.

Sovereignty

All primary data processing for our Sydney operations remains within Australian jurisdiction unless explicitly requested by the client for global routing.

Transparency

We do not operate "black box" data harvesting. Customers retain full visibility into how their edge-derived analytics are generated and stored.

Information Collection Patterns

In the course of providing edge intelligence solutions, Pacific Edge Intelligence collects information that allows us to manage accounts, optimize network performance, and refine data models. This falls into two distinct categories:

  • Identity Data: Names, professional email addresses, and corporate contact details provided during the procurement or consultation phase.
  • Technical Telemetry: IP addresses, device identifiers, and edge node performance metrics collected during the deployment of our analytics hardware and software.

How Your Data Powers Analytics

We utilize the information collected to maintain the integrity of our high-signal intelligence platform. Specifically:

  • To authenticate access to the Intelligence Hub dashboard.
  • To train and calibrate local edge intelligence models that reduce latency for your specific enterprise site.
  • To monitor for security anomalies or unauthorized access attempts within our Sydney data nodes.

We do not engage in automated individual decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you without human oversight.

Retention & Purging Protocols

Data is not stored indefinitely. We adhere to strict retention schedules based on the type of intelligence being processed.

RAW EDGE DATA

Deleted or anonymized within 72 hours of signal extraction.

ANALYTIC REPORTS

Stored for the duration of the contract plus 24 months for historic benchmarking.

Third-Party Protocols

Pacific Edge Intelligence does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Disclosure only occurs under the following circumstances:

  1. Service Sub-processors: Verified cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS or Azure regions within Australia) that provide the physical backbone for our edge intelligence nodes.
  2. Legal Necessity: If required by Australian law or to protect the safety and property of our staff and enterprise partners.
  3. Consent: When you provide explicit written consent for data to be shared with a designated third-party integration partner.

Australian Privacy Compliance

As an Australian entity, Pacific Edge Intelligence complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request its correction or deletion.

Requests regarding data access should be directed to our Privacy Officer at the contact details provided in the communication section of this page.
